THE HOLLY BUSH INN IS SITUATED IN THE VILLAGE OF SALT JUST FOUR
MILES FROM STAFFORD.
FROM
THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY SHOWGROUND
The Holly Bush Inn is less than 2 miles away, turn right out of
the showground (towards Weston and Uttoxeter) and follow the road
until travelling down a steep hill (Weston Bank). Half way down
turn left to Salt, The Holly Bush Inn is 1/2 mile on your left.
FROM
THE TRENT AND MERSEY CANAL
Boaters can find us just a few hundred yards from bridge 82 between
Weston and Sandon. From the tow path walk up the steps and turn
left on the road towards Salt village. Just over the river bridge
turn right at the junction, the Holly Bush Inn is on your left.
FROM THE M6 MOTORWAY
Turn off at junction 14 and follow signs for Uttoxeter. After
a short stretch of dual carriageway go straight on over two roundabouts
and then take the second left turn to Sandon (B5066). Follow the
road and take the third right turn to Salt. Follow the road into
the village (mind the steep banks!). Keep going through the village
and the Holly Bush Inn is on your right.
FROM THE A50 / UTTOXETER RACES
The Holly Bush Inn is only 10 miles from Uttoxeter and the A50.
From Uttoxeter follow the Stafford signs out of town, the A518,
this country road will take you past Chartley Castle and Amerton
Working Farm (both on your right). At the large road junction
of the A51 and A518 turn right onto the dual carriageway and follow
the road for 1 mile. There is a left turn for Salt off the dual
carriageway, follow this road for 1/2 mile, over a railway then
canal and then river bridge. At the junction turn right, the Holly
Bush Inn is on your left.
